This pond feeds Candies Creek, and I pass it on my morning and evening walks. There are a couple of handy park benches positioned in the shade of trees, and I’ve spent many hours in prayer and contemplation sitting in one of them. We can go entire winters without even a dusting of snow, so it was a treat to get to see one of my favorite spots decked out in white.
The trees along this path to the creek were in full bloom for spring–a beautiful time of the year in these parts.
During my family’s Florida tour this past summer, we stopped for a few days at Pensacola Beach.
